It may come as no surprise to dog owners, but just living with a dog can make you happier and walking the dog can be the highlight of the day. With exercise being one of the few reasons for leaving the house for millions of Australians, walking your dog (or someone else's) also benefits both dog owners and their furry friends. Research has shown that dogs can help alleviate everything from depression to anxiety to aggression and other mental health problems.
It’s something that has been on my mind lately: why do people create things? Why, in the face of the world descending into despair, would one get up every single day and do something as complex, messy and unpredictable as making art?
