Chromatic Circle LGBTIQA+ Arts Program

CHROMATIC CIRCLE is a year-long, queer-led creative program offering monthly, arts-based sessions on Saturday afternoons. The program is designed to build community connection, visibility, and a sense of belonging for LGBTQIA+ people and allies.

Each month, participants are invited to explore a different art form, facilitated by LGBTQIA+ artists, musicians, filmmakers, and creative producers. Programmed by emerging artist Isaac Kozlovskis, each session is intentionally low-pressure, welcoming, and accessible to people of all ages, abilities, and levels of creative experience.

Queering the body: what is a human?

Through collage, drawing interventions, we will be playing with ideas of what it means to be human. Participants are encouraged to bring a full body of photo of themselves. Remi Prica is a print and textiles artist living and working on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country.

They have asked the following “could we have access to a black and white printer? The idea is that participants will begin with an image of themselves and slowly chop it and rearrange it.“
