In “Time and its passing”, Canberra Qwire explores music that follows the passage of time, invoking celestial creation with music of Hildegard of Bingen, through to contemporary works by KD Lang, Metallica and John Tavener and conculding with a performance of Ola Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass for double choir and strings - a work of cinematic scope and effect.
