‘Don’t say anything about it!' More than half of Australia’s LGBTIQ+ Buddhists feel reluctant to “come out” to their Buddhist communities. I’m a genderqueer, non-binary Buddhist myself, and I was curious about others’ experiences in Australia since there has been no research done on our community before.
A-Z provides a safe, non-judgmental space for gender and sexuality diverse young people who want to meet new friends and hang out. It offers an opportunity for young people to learn, participate in relevant events, and hear from guest speakers. Young participants will be encouraged to suggest speakers and topics.
