This year YMCA Canberra we are proud to be running their fourth wave of the Our Lives: Women in the ACT Survey. The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete.
YWCA Canberra is a feminist not-for-profit organisation that has provided the ACT region with quality community services, such as early childhood education and care and housing support, since 1929.
The 2025 survey is for all women and non-binary people aged 16 years and over and who live, work, or study in the ACT or surrounding NSW regions (Queanbeyan, Yass, Murrumbateman, Bungendore, Googong, Sutton).
This biannual survey is your opportunity to contribute to our well-respected and influential advocacy agenda by sharing your experiences of living in Canberra.
This survey will collect demographic data and gauge the lived experiences of women and gender diverse persons in Canberra and surrounding regions. It includes questions relating to work, cost-of-living pressures, housing, personal safety and hopes.
Most questions are not mandatory, and you may exit the survey at any time.
YWCA Canberra will be releasing gift incentives for survey respondents. If you would like to be considered in future prize draws, you will need to provide your email address at the end of the survey. It will not be used to identify you or your survey responses and will strictly only be used in any prize draws and to notify you if you are a prize winner.
